How do I book a session?
Feel free to give me a call on 020 8991 5989 to discuss your shoot and it will be my pleasure to answer any questions that you might have. Alternatively drop me an email at email@example.com.
When should I have my maternity photography session?
The best time to book your pregnancy photography session is from 6th month onwards – every bump is different and I photographed my maternity self-portrait at 6 months however, one lady left it as late as two days before her scheduled c-section birth! I now offer combined location and studio maternity photography sessions.
How do I schedule my newborn photography session?
When booking a session, let me know your estimated due date (EDD) and I’ll mark it in my diary a week before your EDD and up to three weeks afterwards. As soon as your little on is born, give me a ring and we’ll choose a suitable date and time. Newborn photography sessions are best held between 4-14 days of birth however up to six weeks old is perfectly fine too. Often babies who are a month old are well settled, feeding well and might even give us the odd smile.
When will my photographs be ready to view and order?
As I work with an assistant, your images are ready to view and select within 48 hours of your session. This can take place at my studio or at your home. There is a small charge of £25 for viewing sessions at your home.
Can I purchase digital files?
Yes, I offer digital high resolution files in sets from 5 to 60 images (or more!). You’ll receive images in colour and in black and white in high resolution (great for printing) and in low resolution (perfect for sending via emails or for social network sites). It’s Nemi’s signature service which clients return for year after year.
Can I purchase one USB card from my Maternity & Newborn Sessions?
Digital packages are attractively priced already and are from individual sessions only. It’s 1 USB card per session only.
Where is your studio located?
My studio is based in Richmond, West London very close to M4 and A406.. To locate me look up TW9 2PQ.
What should we wear for our photography session?
Wear whatever you are most comfortable in and when in doubt, bring extra clothing with you – it’s your session and it’s great to have an ‘official’ family portrait outfit and a casual one too. I’ll send you a ‘what to wear’ guide before your session.
Do you offer weekend sessions?
I do offer sessions on Saturdays and Sundays that includes newborn photography sessions.
What is included in retouching my images?
I work with three professional retouchers and images will be retouched in as natural style as possible. Baby spots and scratches will be removed unless otherwise requested. Dry skin on newborns is natural and if you prefer for it not to show I’ll offer skin friendly cream to hide it. Should you wish not to use the cream and then would like the dry skin removed it will count as additional retouching.
For adults, skin will be lightly smoothed, any spots removed, teeth whitened and light ‘nip and tuck’ of double chins or other parts od the body is offered. Additional retouching such as fixing tan lines, drastic slimming, and removal of tattoos is available at extra cost. Price will be quoted before the job.
